1960年代、ジェフ・ベック・グループ、そして、フェイセズのボーカルとして活動し、70年代以降はソロアーティストして、大活躍をしているロッド・スチュワート。
「Tonight's the Night (Gonna Be Alright)」、「Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?」、「All for Love」など数々のヒット曲を持ち、2000年代にはスタンダードナンバーをカバーしたアルバム、「The Great American Songbook」シリーズが軒並みヒットし、その第3弾「Stardust: The Great American Songbook, Volume III」で、およそ28年振りにビルボードチャート1位を獲得しました。
そして、昨年11月に発売したヒット曲をオーケストラアレンジで再録音したアルバム、「You're in My Heart: Rod Stewart with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra」はイギリスで1位を獲得し、まだまだ現役での活動を見せつけております！！！
そんなロッド・スチュワートですが、毎年毎年、精力的にコンサートを行い、
2017年と2018年は、シンディ・ローパーと一緒にツアーをを開催しておりましたが、今年の夏は、チープ・トリックと一緒に北米ツアーの開催を発表しました！
